"Black Butterflies" by Priscilla Morris

This is a harrowing and tragic story. There are some moments of lightness but not many. It is written well and I felt a lot of empathy for the characters. I think the fact that its based upon real events really makes it more emotive and particularly given the wars happening across the world at the moment. 4 stars out of 5. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/60102361-black-butterflies
