"The places we've never been" by Gustavo Foldavri
This is a sweet, heart tugging set of short stories about the impact places have on us. The writing is engaging, the settings are absolutely relatable and the characters are all human with traits recognisable in ourselves or others we know. I particularly liked "Train stations", "Eleanor's bench", "Waiting room" and "Say Cheese". Each story made me reflect and the range of topics covered is wide. The author skillfully writes from different perspectives and a range of ages and life stages.
I am not totally sure about the title having read the book.
I was gifted a free copy of this book in exchange for an objective review.
I gave this 4 stars out of 5.
