"Vile Bodies" by Evelyn Waugh

I was slightly put off by the dedication of this book to Diana Moseley but as it was also to her first husband I decided to read it. This is a quirky read with a very loose storyline but there are some very funny scenes particularly that at the racetrack. It's actually quite fun to read and definitely made me feel like I was in the 1920s. I think if read in that context then it makes sense and it definitely helped to read the introduction although that felt almost longer than the book itself. 3 stars out of 5. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/142492.Vile_Bodies
