"Production Values" by E.V. Hayes

I enjoyed this satire on the American film industry. However I found the plot predictable and wanted to spend more time exploring some of the characters in more depth. It covered a lot of ground but it felt as though this was quite swift. There seemed to be a lot more to explore from an ethical perspective but the fact that it wasn't ties in well with the view of the film industry as shallow. I felt that the book echoed contemporary society well although it did make me feel concerned and curious as to how this would play out in real life. 3 stars out of 5.
