I found myself a little disappointed by this book. I think I hoped for a lot based on the summary but then felt that the characters and storyline were a bit obvious and predictable. However this is in some ways a good thing as the book was easy to read, the plot was predictable and there was a large degree of realism within the story. I didn't feel any great attachment for any of the characters although did find some of the later chapters more moving. This story could be someone's reality and I think that is what made it a good read. It was all entirely plausible and I did read it all. 3 stars out of 5. I recieved a complimentary advance copy of this book in return for a fair review.
